Christmas Tree Help Please

I’m itching to put up my Christmas tree, I typically put it up the evening before Thanksgiving so my cousin can help me decorate but she won’t be here this year :(   My favorite part of Christmas is the decorating, yep not the gift getting ;) hehe

A long time ago when I lived with an old friend we had FIVE trees in our home!  Yes, you read that correctly, I wrote FIVE trees in one house and actually it was SIX if you counted the small one on the top of the china cabinet.  Why SIX trees? Well, we had shopped at Target one year after Christmas and scored some awesome ornaments for a total steal!!

We had, the main tree in the living room with her gold ornaments, then a tree in the upstairs loft with my Silver/Fuchsia ornaments and a tree in the guest room with silver/ice blue ornaments, in her room she had a small tree with gold ornaments and in my room I had my 4ft tree with multi-color ornaments!  Whew, that was a lot but it was so festive and we loved it as did our guests who came to our Christmas party that year!

Here is what I used in 2008 after IKE hit our home and left a tree on our house, we weren’t up for full decor that year so we had this small tree.

PC133219 And here is our tree in 2009, I think it turned out so beautiful and classy!  Giving you a few photos to look at cause I have a favor to ask so I want you to be able to imagine my tree for 2010. You can click on the photos to see them in a larger format.

PC236130   PC126046PC126043OK, so my question for you is this:  I am ready to change up the tree a bit because I used these colors in 2006 and 2007 as well but don’t have photos handy to show you.  I have the Fuchsia ornaments and was wondering if that would be a nice accent color with the blue/silver/white?  Or spend a little bit of money to buy Chartruese ornaments to add to the blue/silver/white and I would of course edit out some of the existing ornaments to make room for the new color.  So, what do you think?

A.  Add Fuchsia

B.  Add Chartreuse

P.S. I will not be adding in the blue lights, will only use the lights that come on the tree, yes a fake tree :(  I want a real tree but just got this tree last year so will wait till next year to bring in a real tree ;)

P.P.S.  YES, I do love me a FULL tree, LOL.

Love the tree. I vote for pink, cause I am a pink girl! And I don't think 6 trees is crazy at all. I have 3 (6, 7, and 12 feet) and if I could find a way to convince dh to set up more.....

Hi Nancy! I love your tree- I'm going to use it as inspiration for my tree this year. If I were you, I'd bring in some jewel tones like fuschia/teal. It'd be very glam but quite festive. Good luck!
