Seniors

Not the old kind, giggle.  High School Seniors.  I have a long time friend whom I've know for about fifteen years.  He has two gorgeous daughters who are graduating this year.  So, they asked me if I would take some photos of them for their sorority applications and I jumped at the chance for more practice time!  We had so much fun, aside from the fact that it was really cold and windy.  Not our usual spring weather here in south Texas.

I plan to share some of the photos at a later date but tonight I wanted to share one with you.  This one isn't perfect but it is adorable!  As you can see the ruffle on Alexandra's dress blew up but otherwise this shot is perfect!  It shows their beautiful personalities.  As I was editing I thought how fun would it be to throw some fabulous Rhonna Designs on that photo and pretend it's one of their graduation announcements.

I used a frame from the Insta Lovin' Frame kit found HERE and then I added the Insta Quote brush found HERE and then used a small banner brush for their names from Insta Banners found HERE.  It was a quick project via photoshop elements but you can also create this in word using the png files.

I think that creating a custom announcement is fun and would win over any High School senior!

And if you are looking for a place to print out your custom announcements may I suggest Persnicketyprints.com found HERE They have some awesome papers to choose from!  I think this one would be great with their Metallic or Pearl paper!  That shimmer would be awesome!

Quick and Easy Thank You Card

Hi there!  I'm glad you stopped in!  Today I wanted to share with you a very quick, simple and cute card that I created to send an amazing lady!  I know that there are some of you out there that prefer an easy quick card/project and so this should be just up your alley!

I simply used the supplies shown in the photo above with two digital kits from Rhonna Designs to create that card.  I simply installed two brush files into PSE, chose my color and "stamped" them into the file, printed then cut them down to use in my project.   If you need a how to on how quick and easy that is let me know and I will do a very short video.
I then cut out the designs and applied them to some Bazzill card stock and glued them on to a standard card that I had on hand.  I like to keep blank cards on hand that I buy at either Hobby Lobby or Michael's for quick cards such as this.

(Click on photo to see in a larger size)

As you can see above, it is simple yet cute and I think it will get the job done. What I love about hybrid projects is that there are many times that I don't have pattern cardstock on hand that fits the occasion.  This is when using digital files via Photoshop Elements comes in handy!  I can create my own pattern paper when I use the brush files.  I can then make my own embellishments also, I can create them in any color or size I choose as I did with the chevron pattern from the insta Pattern kit and the insta Thanks kit.  Just imagine the adorable set you could create with this kit and it would be a great gift!

I have listed the Insta Kits I used below.  Be sure to stop over at Rhonna's Blog found HERE for more inspiration and news!  She is celebrating her 1st year of business at Rhonna Designs.  I have been so lucky to have been a part of her first year! Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have a great day and week!

**Wouldn't that "Just a Little thank you" on photo make an adorable card! I think I will have to use that next!**

cReative Team Tuesday - InstaLovin Layout

Hi there!  Welcome back, as you may have noticed I have not been blogging regularly so let's just call it  my summer break, ha!  Any who, this week I am sharing a quick layout I created using many of the items found from a few of Rhonna's Insta Lovin kits.

I got to see my nieces this past weekend and so they asked me to take some photos of them and of course I jumped at the chance!  I really love how they turned out and I still have so much to learn but I'm trying to not over criticize myself but I sorta do, lol.

Aren't they gorgeous!

And here is the layout that I created with the photo above and another one I took that includes my sister, their mother.

I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut out all the pieces other than the photos.  I also created some instaNotes and printed them out and used one to journal on and the other to add a cute heart icon.

These are the kits I used

I had a lot of fun creating them and if you have any questions please be sure to let me know.  Now head on over to Rhonna's Blog HERE to see what the other design team members have been up to and as Rhonna says her goodbye's to this past years team.

Have a great week friends!

cReative Team Tuesday - Silhouette Cameo and Phonto meet Rhonna's Insta Lovin Kits

Hi there and welcome back! This week I am sharing the video tutorial on how you can use the PNG files from Rhonna's new Insta Lovin Kits with your Silhouette Cameo.
The piece above is what I cut using the new InstaQuotes Kit via the PNG file with my Silhouette Cameo.

You can watch the tutorial at my new Vimeo Channel found HERE to see how I used the PNG file from Rhonna's Insta Quote Kit.

Then be sure to come back for part 2 of today's tutorial!
Using Phonto and Rhonna's Insta Lovin Kits as shown in the instagram photos below. You can click on any photo to see them in a larger size.

Your first step after purchasing the kits is to import them into your iPhone. You can visit our friend Lindzie HERE for great tutorials!  She has two, one showing for windows and another for Mac so be sure to scroll down for both.

And if you have an android and you want to use Phonto or PicsArt with Rhonna's True Type Fonts do the following.
1. Connect your phone to your computer where your Rhonna Designs Insta Lovin files are.
2. Locate the folder on your phone called Phonto/Fonts or PicsArt/Fonts (found on your SD card)
3. Then drag the fonts to those folders and once you unplug your phone and open apps they will load.
4. Be sure you are loading the TTF files

When uploading your instagrams that include Rhonna's digi we would love it if you added the following hashtag #rhonnadesigns  Thanks!
