Project 365 in 2014

Hello friends!  It's been way too long since I last blogged!  I have been keeping really busy but you can always find me on Instagram HERE.   I am in the process of getting my photography business going after a year of friends encouraging me.  I know it will be tough, my style isn't for everyone and I still have more to learn but I'm ready to start on a new adventure!  I chose "Brave" as this year's OLW to help me on this new adventure.

I'm still part of Rhonna Designs as a creative contributor so I will be back to creating projects with her amazing designs and sharing them here.  And of course I use them in instagram often, love creating my own art with her app!  I am actually using rhonna designs app to create small layouts with my P365 photos.  So fun and easy and I love how each month they will have a coordinating design below the photo.  Here is what I have so far and you can find them by searching this hashtag #nw2014p365 sadly I just saw someone tagged one of their photos with my custom hashtag so now i'm going to see a belly every time i pull up the hashtag. oy vey, i even checked it before I started to use it, lol.  Might need to rethink that hashtag.  Thanks for stopping in and Happy New Year!

How to Tutorials for Rhonna Designs App

*App Logo and art above courtesy of Rhonna Designs*

Hello friends!! If you are using the new fun app from Rhonna Farrer found only in the iTunes Store for a mere $1.99 I'm sure you are having a blast!  If not visit this blog post HERE and Rhonna will introduce you to it.

I made two very last minute apps if you are interested.   One is on how to add layers of designs and text and the other on how to use the Mask feature.  The app released while Rhonna was off on a family vacation.  And I'm sure once back from vacation Rhonna will have some awesome tutorials but wanted to share a couple till then.

I might add more and if you have specific requests let me know and I will see if I can do a tutorial on some of your requests.

And lastly, feel free to follow me on Instagram at my new IG profile name _nancywyatt and if you know others that need help send them my way, I'm happy to help. Thanks!!

Rhonna Designs App

Hello friends!!  Well, if you follow me on instagram via my new IG name @_nancywyatt (formerly @nct621) you have seen me playing around with the beta version of Rhonna's new up and coming app!  Well, it should only be a couple of days before the Apple store gives the approval and releases it into it's shop!! EEEK!!  So, if you love giving your instagrams a fun artistic look then this is a great app for you!  Here is a little snippet that Rosemary Watson created to get us all excited and ready for the release!  We will be shouting it from the rooftops when the app is ready for purchase but a little bird told me that it could be on the 4th of July so hopefully all goes as planned and we see it there then.!  Have a great week friends!!  If you want to see what we have created with the app just do a search on Instagram on the hashtag #rhonnadesigns_app

**I almost failed to mention that the first release will be available in the iTunes store only.  They hope to release it to the Android market at a later date.  It turns out that it is a lot more work and money to get app into the Android stores so hopefully with enough sales of the iTunes version they can move on to the droid version**

cReative Team Tuesday - InstaLovin Layout

Hi there!  Welcome back, as you may have noticed I have not been blogging regularly so let's just call it  my summer break, ha!  Any who, this week I am sharing a quick layout I created using many of the items found from a few of Rhonna's Insta Lovin kits.

I got to see my nieces this past weekend and so they asked me to take some photos of them and of course I jumped at the chance!  I really love how they turned out and I still have so much to learn but I'm trying to not over criticize myself but I sorta do, lol.

Aren't they gorgeous!

And here is the layout that I created with the photo above and another one I took that includes my sister, their mother.

I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut out all the pieces other than the photos.  I also created some instaNotes and printed them out and used one to journal on and the other to add a cute heart icon.

These are the kits I used

I had a lot of fun creating them and if you have any questions please be sure to let me know.  Now head on over to Rhonna's Blog HERE to see what the other design team members have been up to and as Rhonna says her goodbye's to this past years team.

Have a great week friends!

cReative Team Tuesday - Silhouette Cameo and Phonto meet Rhonna's Insta Lovin Kits

Hi there and welcome back! This week I am sharing the video tutorial on how you can use the PNG files from Rhonna's new Insta Lovin Kits with your Silhouette Cameo.
The piece above is what I cut using the new InstaQuotes Kit via the PNG file with my Silhouette Cameo.

You can watch the tutorial at my new Vimeo Channel found HERE to see how I used the PNG file from Rhonna's Insta Quote Kit.

Then be sure to come back for part 2 of today's tutorial!
Using Phonto and Rhonna's Insta Lovin Kits as shown in the instagram photos below. You can click on any photo to see them in a larger size.

Your first step after purchasing the kits is to import them into your iPhone. You can visit our friend Lindzie HERE for great tutorials!  She has two, one showing for windows and another for Mac so be sure to scroll down for both.

And if you have an android and you want to use Phonto or PicsArt with Rhonna's True Type Fonts do the following.
1. Connect your phone to your computer where your Rhonna Designs Insta Lovin files are.
2. Locate the folder on your phone called Phonto/Fonts or PicsArt/Fonts (found on your SD card)
3. Then drag the fonts to those folders and once you unplug your phone and open apps they will load.
4. Be sure you are loading the TTF files

When uploading your instagrams that include Rhonna's digi we would love it if you added the following hashtag #rhonnadesigns  Thanks!

Ready for the video tutorial?! Then head over to my new Vimeo Channel found HERE and choose the video titled Rhonna Designs meets Phonto.
