My Black Friday

I spent it at home, sleeping in late with my wonderful hubby then putting up our Christmas tree.  It was so nice to be in my jammies snacking on leftovers and decorating the tree.  So, my tree dilema was quickly resolved once we brought down all the plastic tubs and I found ornaments that I had bought at Target for 75% off after Christmas last year.  I started out with editing out what I wasn’t going to use which was all the blue and many of the silver pieces.  I used lots of white and some silver then started adding in the teal, fuchsia, green and orange which were in different patterns.  The best part of decorating the tree is that it looks like all new stuff to me but I didn’t have to spend any money to dress my tree!  I also added the ornaments to glass apothecary jars on my mantel and on garland on the hearth.  Here is a sneak peek but I will post better photos once I get some good light in the living room.  *NOTE: I know my window looks shameful with just blinds but I haven’t been able to come up with curtains that I like so ignore that would you ;)

Here is a photo taken this afternoon, I’m starting to wish I had some large colorful ornaments where the white was are so I might spend a little money if I can find some for at least half off at Hobby Lobby or Target :)  I’m pitiful huh, LOL.
