It’s a cupcake themed party!

Just a quick post for you, wanted to share what I created with this gift box purchased last year on clearance for .07cents and yes, I bought tons of them at that price!  This is the same box I used this past February for a valentine sweets gift box for the hubby as shown here.

**Sorry for the poor photo quality but I was rushing around when taking photos and didn’t use proper settings :(  But you can see photo in a larger size by clicking on the photo.P2086308 I simply cut off the flaps and covered two sides with patterned cardstock used to make the coordinating pennants and goody bag decor.  Then on the other two sides I cut some color cardstock to mat two different photos and applied those to the other two sides.  I then took some coffee filters and created flowers and simply sprayed them with some yellow ink and  presto chango…6 instant center pieces for very little money!

PB219847 Now for the goody bags, I cut out some pennants with the matching papers used for centerpieces, created the cupcake tag with the digital kit then simply printed them out and backed them with cardstock.  I then added a little bit of crepe paper stapled them to the pennants and dressed up plain paper bags.PB219845 Let’s decorate the cupcakes now, I created some cupcake toppers in Photoshop then simply used a circle punch to cut them out and backed them up with a coordinating cardstock on the backside.  The logo used for the cupcake toppers tied into the invite shown at the bottom of this post. PB219844 Let’s hang the banner, here I used the same patterned cardstock that I used throughout the entire decor and printed out letters and then simply stapled it all together and hung them on pink tulle.   How cute are those cupcake cakes!!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Here is the invite I created using this adorable digital kit found at Two Peas in a Bucket.  I used many of the digital elements through out the decor, on the tags, pennants and cupcake toppers.  Buying a digital kit allows you to be as creative as you want to be!

I truly love giving the decorations as my gift and the best part is that since we don’t have kids I get to enjoy the fun of decorating for a party even if it’s not for one of my own ;)  Thanks for stopping by!
