Latest Layouts

Hi there! Well, today is my last day off and it’s been nice being away from the office even though I didn’t really get much rest or the feel of a vacation.  But, sometimes you just have to use up your vacation time and getting away from the cubicle world was nice!  OK, so here are some of the layouts I worked on over the last week and did some other creating that I will share with you later.

Tweeked this layout that I created while in Tyler visiting my in-laws, I added a journaling spot to it and the word love got moved up to the top.  It’s bugging me that my hand writing is crooked and I left an “n” off one of the words. LOL   But overall I like it especially since I didn’t have much to work with in my goodies bag that I packed for the quick brief trip.  Aren’t my grandparents adorable!! Love them SO MUCH!

And this layout if of my friend Melanie, I adore her and loved this photo of her so I asked her to email it to me so I could do a page about her.  The layout is meant to be simple, I didn’t want to take away from her photo and the printed cardstock.  I used some My Mind’s Eye So Sophie line along with some Bazzill cardstock to create this page.  I used my silhouette to cut out the branch, I was so excited to find they had a piece that matched it so well!  I should tell you that Melanie and I have never met in person but we became friends via scrapbooking and the internet world!  I really enjoy her and we try and chat over the phone now and then as well as via emails, tweeting, FB and our blogs!  You should go see her right now, love her!!  Click HERE to visit her blog!

P7128058 The next two layouts are summer layouts using some Fab House of 3 Summer goodies and if you don’t know about them you should go see them HERE.  The adorable boys in the photos are my grand nephews who live in Odessa Texas, aren’t they adorable!!

I used some Bazzill cardstock, Making Memories Ribbon, American Crafts Thickers Font and then some printables from the House of 3.  As well as some Tim Holtz distressing inks.  And YES, the layouts are meant to be almost the same, it’s called being lazy, LOL   :)

OK, that is it for now.  Hope you have a wonderful week!
