Mother's Day Paper Corsage

Hi there!  Well, I'm sure you are wondering where I have been? Maybe not? LOL  Well, life has kept me busy and so my blog has fallen behind but I am here today!  I wanted to share with you a few photos one of which is a terrible photo but still sharing it with you.  Bad photos do happen right, ha!

So, today I am sharing with you the fun and easy paper corsage that I created with Rhonna's new kit found HERE.  I simply printed out the files on paper on my home computer and put these together very quickly!  I used a kraft card that I had and simply cut a slit in the front so that I could add the paper corsage to the front.  This then made my project a card and a paper corsage, fun huh!

I would like to mention that I punched out a circle with heavy card stock to adhere to the back of the doily first. This gave me a solid base to work off of for the ribbons and it also kept them from showing throughout the think doily. Then once I laid out the paper ribbons as I liked them I stapled them together then used adhesive to glue the ribbons to the card stock.  I then covered that with another circle for stability and so that I could add the pin or clip as shown.
And here is another ribbon I created with the same kit.

And here is the TERRIBLE BLURRY photo that I was too lazy to re-take a photo of once I started writing my blog post. Sorry but it gives you an idea of an easy and cute card you can create with Rhonna's freebie with purchase kit.

Well, that is it for today! Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.
