Houston Quilt Market

Just a quick post to share some of the goodies I got at the Quilt Market last week, totally forgot to share with you!  The show was great, it was my first time and although I am not a quilter I love me some FABRIC!  There was so much to choose from and the talent displayed was AMAZING and I met some really nice folks too!  I didn’t know that you aren’t suppose to take photos without asking as many folks won’t allow you to take photos, oops.  I found out the hard way :(  I hope you have a great weekend planned!

My Stash!  Can’t wait to sew a few pillows for my guest room, make some flower pins and do some felting, eek how fun!!

The Quilt below was created with yo-yo’s lots and lots and lots of them!

If I ever get the time to learn to quilt I would go this route as you use a die cutting machine to cut your fabric, oh so cool!

DSCN2478  If you go to www.modabakeshop.com you can get free patterns, that was per the nice ladies hosting the booth.  Love their fabrics!!  And they let me take photos :)

I love all that ribbon. How yummy as is the fabric in the first picture. I know that you will make something really cute with your stash.

I love moda. I've made their coin stack quilt. And I love all that trim you found. I need to go to a quilt market one of these days.
