Get Ready Set….. GO!

**Date edited and notes added**

OK friends!  I am ready to start playing with my November Girls Loft Kit which you can find HERE.  As previously mentioned I planned on creating a Christmas necklace much like the Halloween Necklace I created HERE which was originally inspired by the one designed by Margie Romney-Aslett for Creative Escape 2010.

I invite you to create a necklace using these items or those which you have on hand and if you send me a photo I will post it to my blog for inspiration for others and put your name in a drawing for the December Girls Loft Kit.  NO, I will not be sending you my December kit but instead ordering an extra for one of you lucky winners!   After all I have to have one for myself to play with, they are too fabulous not to have :)

If we get more than 30 to participate I will then award a 2nd and 3rd place prize, those prizes to be named at a later time.  The cut off for this contest will be **Sunday Dec 5th, I hope you will join me and help me spread the word!  Actually, if you help me spread the word by either posting a link to this post on your FB, Twitter or Blog come back and leave me your name on this post and I will do a drawing  from those entries as well and make sure to enter one comment per post you have done.

With that here is what I came up with today and I also plan on making a bracelet and a second necklace as well, who knows maybe one of those will end up being a giveaway prize?  I created it with all the fabulous Tinsel & Twig items from The Girl’s Paperie by Margie and the chain and some pieces are by Tim Holtz idea-ology.  The letters spell out “MERRY” and I glued two of them together so they are double sided.

**You are not required to use the Nov Girls Loft Kit although I myself recommend it as it has some awesome goodies in it that will make for an awesome necklace/bracelet!  The Girls Loft Kit DOES NOT come with the actual chain hardware or Fragment pieces, that is something that I had on hand.  All the papers, buttons, chipboards letters, words, ribbon, and flowers DID come in the kit. **

Here are photos, excuse the quality of them as it was gloomy outside and I’m a bit under the weather and so didn’t make it outside to take photos.

These would make awesome teachers gifts, they could wear them all of December :)

that is so cute! I don't have my glasses on and I thought the red in the chain was red licorice. LOL
I had to enlarge it to see for sure.
