A little Halloween and A Lot of Fall

Hope you have had an awesome weekend, mine has been great!  Today was all about relaxing and creating in my jammies all afternoon (OK, while doing laundry)!

No worries, I started out the day with coffee in bed and the newspaper!  Made the hubby some breakfast (he made it yesterday) and then play time began!  Here is what I created using a package of My Mind’s Eye Blackbird, One Sheet of their Blackbird Chipboard Die cuts, 2 sheets of Bazzill Cardstock and some burlap and ribbon!  The Moon and the tree seen in the frame are from the House of 3, digital files simply printed out on printed cardstock. I love it!

FIRST: I dusted the mantel and FAILED to put the clock back in the center, ugh!!!!  Everything is now off center! So, ignore that would ya ;)

I then decorated it, I put very few items that showed the Halloween side of the papers.  I wanted this to be easily a fall decor in November too!  I will only have to remove the small banner that has the spiders on it and the couple of Halloween themed items on the mantel and it will be fall!

If you live in the Houston area you can get all these papers at Scrapp’n Savvy in Spring ,Texas!

The little orange frame in the photo below is from the dollar section at Michael’s, found last year. PA179600 PA179601 PA179602PA179608PA179607   PA179610 PA179611 PA179612

Now, if only I could remember where I put the pumpkin lid that belongs to that Longaberger Pumpkin basket!

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I’ve been up to! Have a great week!!

Oh Nancy, I love the green color in your decor. When I was scrapping, I loved My Mind's Eye paper. It just always made me happy.

I wish I would have known you were home today. I would have called you. I thought you were golfing.

Nancy this is beautiful. What a great decoration to have in the living room. I deeply impressed over your work.
I get so inspired by you. Since we don`t celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving, I better watch out for your christmas decoration to get inspired and play myself.
Wish you a great week to come.
Hugs Gunn :-)

That mantle is SO inspirational! I love the color scheme and the idea of leaving it up through Thanksgiving too. Also, I would love to get some of that burlap "ribbon" for my Fall banner. Is it available online?
