Just a little more birthday fun….

OK.  I know you are probably growing old of hearing about birthdays on my blog but I have two more.  I have a friend who has two adorable twins who are turning the BIG FIVE!  Since I don’t have kiddos I often like to give birthday invites as my gift and for the last 4 yours I have made their birthday invites as well as this years 5th birthday invite shown HERE.   Well, as part of my birthday gift to the girls I made them banners to hang up at their home for their birthday party.  I failed to take photos of the banners so hopefully my friend will  take a few snapshots so I can share them with you.  For now here are the gift bags I decorated and the cake toppers (they each get their own cake).  I used some House of 3 birthday printables and simply cut them and using my Tim Holtz mini attacher quickly decorated them.  I also made them a little paper necklace that they can wear when blowing out their candles and then printed out two of the birthday cards.  So, hope you enjoy the photos and if you are interested in getting your own set of House of 3 goodies just go HERE.

OK. This is it for birthdays so next week I will be creating with my new Spring Junque from House of 3.

Hello Nancy.
I really like what you done here. I am impressed over the fact that you managae to get the names attach to the word Birthday- I mean, I understand that you did this wiht your silhouette, but how?
To use the banner on the goodie bags are such a great idea.
Hope you have a great Easter.
Hugs Gunn :-D

Thanks ladies!

Gunn- I did use my Silhouette to cut the Happy Birthday Banner. I simply used the HO3 Happy and Birthday then made sure they were touching. Then I added the name below it and made sure some of the letters were touching then selected it all and right click then weld. Love that feature and love my Silhouette more and more each time I use it! My poor cricut is feeling a bit neglected I'm sure *wink
