Flashback!

This post is in reply to my new blog buddy Brittany over at Food For Thought which you should rush over and visit! She has some serious cooking skills! We are DRY, thank goodness we didn't have any flooding in our neighborhood although some folks on the other side of I-45 did! If you haven't heard it has been raining, well pouring on us since late yesterday. Normally we would all suck it up but since IKE visited us last September we are all a little more sensitive. There was tons of flooding in many parts of Houston and in our area just north of Houston. I took the day off and I was glad I did as I saw via the news that many folks came across lots of water on their way to work. Hope you all are having a good start to the week! I hope to have a new project posted some time later this week. The hubby is back as of today, he has been sleeping ALL day, making up for all the lack of sleep he had while away at work these last 7 days. He was supposed to be gone 14 but they changed it yet again. Ciao for now!

Whew! :)

I am so glad ya'll are okay.
The news showed some wicked images of the flooding up there!

Also, I found a super-cute Ali Edwards font last night, and it is going to be retired soon (May 5).

Check it out at: http://scrapnfonts.com/searchdetail.php?psku=11070

Hugs!

Hey Nancy! Did you pick up your tag from my blog? Did I tell you about it? I'm a mess. I went upstairs to get coffee a bit ago - cup in hand - got to the top of the steps and forgot what I went up there for! YIKES!!

Glad hubby is home again.

I had clients and friends in Houston last year that went thru Ike. So glad you are safe!!
