Metamorphosis Monday

Welcome back to this week's Metamorphosis Monday hosted by our wonderful hostess Susan over at Between Naps On the Porch! As you can see I'm continuing with my before/afters of my Pinkalicous Craft Studio. The buffet in the after shot is one that I bought Saturday in Warrenton TX. I spent a great day with two great friends Deborah and Tracy, we headed out early and drove out to Warrenton for a day of browsing and shopping! This was mine and Tracy's first time to go to the event. It's like a huge flea market which is held twice a year in the Roundtop, Tx area outside of Brenham, Tx. It continues on to next weekend April 4th and 5th if you aren't far from this event you should go! I was originally going to put the Ikea Expedit bookcase on this wall but for now the new "old" buffet has found a home. What do you think? Be sure to click here to visit Susan for a listing of all those playing along in this weeks Metamorphosis Monday! You are sure to see some great before and afters! Hope you have a great start to the week!

Love your new "old" buffet. I think it is perfect on that wall, and it has some storage, work and display space also. Love it. Hugs, Marty

This is a great buffet, and you have it accessorized so beautifully, especially the wire stand and the wall frames. Loving it.

Hi Nancy! I just sent two more email to you, one at each address that you gave me. My husband just hooked a new computer up this weekend so we suspect we can receive but not send yet? I'm so sorry to hold the other winners up in their choosing! I'll have him send information on my mailing address to you from work if they come back again. I would like mirror #1 if I could please, that would be great! The perfect spot is awaiting! Thank you! I love your buffet! It looks like it was made for that space! I also like the photo arrangement above and the black stand draws your eye right up to the photos. Great job! This room rocks and so do you!

Gorgeous - I wish I had a craft studio that looked half as professional!

The white buffet definitely has more character than anything from Ikea :-) Not that Ikea stuff is bad, but it's nice to have something unique. And it's good to give a new home to an old piece :-)

Thanks for visiting our blog :-) Believe me, it wasn't easy walking by that hole for 5 years!!

Nancy,
Please stop by my blog to pick up a little something I left for you...sorry it's so large...maybe you can condense it? LOL! Be sure to read the top two mentions of your blog on my Mellow Yellow Monday post. My husband sent you an email from work with my mailing address. Can you let me know you received it O.K.? Thanks again and have a great Monday! (Hugs)Luanne

Such a lovely find! I've been to Warrenton, it's sweeeet. So is the Christmas fair out there every year. Something like "on the Strand". Too many dead brain cells since then, sorry. :-))) Your room is looking good! I would be so excited! xoxo
