Media Cabinet turned Craft Storage

* Please excuse the concrete floors, carpet still to be installed.

Wanted to share with you a couple of photos of the new cabinet I bought at Pier 1 on Sunday. It was tucked away behind a bunch of other furniture pieces but I spotted it. And when I saw that it was on sale I gave it a second look. After all it was $100 off the original sale price, how could I not take a good look, right? It's meant to be a media cabinet, for me it will be craft storage. Well, as you can see I couldn't walk away from this deal so home it came with me. It has four shelves in it and so I plan on storing some of my card and envelopes along with some other items. My only concern was seeing the items that I will be storing. So, I bought some foam board today and I think I will paint it the pink that is found on my walls and then insert it from the inside. What is really neat is that the way it is made it allows for the foam board to sit snugly and so I can still open and close the door with ease. In one of the photos, I opened the door against the wall so you could see what it will look like. I will be sure to re post photos once I actually finish the project. So, this sweet black cabinet has found a new home! Ciao for now.
