Metamorphosis Monday and an Icy Blue Christmas

Hi there! I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday! We did and now I’m ready to move on to Christmas, I so love decorating for the holidays!  This week I wanted to share with you our Christmas tree before and after.  Hope it inspires someone out there in blog land.

Thankful

Hope everyone had as wonderful of a day as we had here in Conroe (Houston), Texas! It was filled with love, food, family and lots of laughter.

Wishing all of you a wonderful Holiday Season!

Home at Thanksgiving

Hi there! I hope your plans are going smoothly in preparation for Thanksgiving!  Today I worked on finishing up an album I started last Friday night at my favorite scrapbooking store, By Design.  They had Janet Hopkins come in for another round of classes and I was able to take one.  As you can see from my previous post I am a big Janet Hopkins of House of 3 fan!  I ended up re-doing my front door once I got home and so I added the “at Thanksgiving” to mine.  Yep, mine is going to be not only about our home but our home at Thanksgiving.  I am still working on it but I will be back to share the inside pages.

Welcome

A few months ago I took a class at By Design given by Janet Hopkins of House of 3.  We made a welcome sign using some digital elements from the House of 3 printed on cardstock and transparencies.  We also used some ledger paper, a door knob and a few other things.  At the time I took the class I shared a photo of my unfinished project so wanted to share with you the finished sign and how it looks hanging in our hallway. Hope everyone has a great week.

A Major Cutie!

This cutie pictured here is my friends little boy, Major.  He was born with Down Syndrome, isn’t he the cutest little thing you ever saw!  I am excited to have joined Major’s League.  We are raising money for the Down’s Syndrome Association.  If you have a chance please visit my page by clicking here to help us raise money for this great cause.
