Hope you make time to stop by House of 3's site to join in on the fun, they are having a House Warming weekend! I've taken a peek and they have some incredible art that will be available soon. You can use it to print out and create your own stuff and if you are a digital scrapbooker you can download the files. The picture you see here is one I made using some of the digital art they sell. It's not exactly what I wanted but I wanted to show you how you can do cool stuff with their products. Too fun! Hope your weekend is a great one!

New Blog Couture
If you visit my blog now and then you probably know that I like to change up the look of my blog and lately it has been frequently. I have been working on my Photoshop skills which are mostly lacking. What I know is mostly from surfin the net and visiting some sites that offer free tutorials. I have created my own blog headers in the past and just kept my blog background neutral. Well, if you follow my blog (I know I only have 9 followers, hee hee) you know what a HUGE Rhonna Farrer fan I am! Surely you have clicked on the House of 3 Blinkie and if not then WHAT are you waiting for? Well, Rhonna, Heidi Swapp and Janet Hopkins have started up House of 3 and it's already a HUGE hit! It's on their site that I purchased (for just $3.00 total) the background and header you see now. I have bought many other items from them, brushes, hybrid printable kits and other background/headers. So, I will warn you know that my blog will change often. It's become an addiction of mine, like shoes, purses and scrap-ing supplies. LOL I was off today and had a second company come in to give me a bid on flooring, a third is coming tomorrow morning before I head off to work so I better get to bed! Hope your week started out well, ciao for now!

OK, so yesterday we went flooring shopping, we came home with lots of carpet samples and one sample of wood floor for my studio. I'm going with a dark distressed floor and I'm not talking laminate! MY DH and I got each other bikes for Valentines and so exercise is going to be a routine in my near future! Have a great Sunday! Ciao for now.

Metamorphosis Monday - Week Four
Welcome back to MM, I didn't participate last week but hated to not this week so I'm pulling more photos of my studio. For those of you who don't know, we had a tree fall on our home when Ike came to town. My Studio was one of the rooms that was affected by this and so a room that we had just completed is now in the process of being redone. ugh. OK, so this time around I used a lighter shade of pink on the walls and waiting on new carpet. I was off this past Friday and so I couldn't resist placing the desks back in so that I could decide the new layout. This also helped me judge where to hang some of the wall stuff. Please note I am NOT finished, there is still much to be done. I will be bringing back the chandelier and curtains but have decided to change out some of the wall decor. I have also opted out of displaying all my stamps as I did before, I just can't bring myself to putting it all back the same way. When this is all said and done I will have a slide for the before photos and the after photos. Till then here are some photos of the latest. When you are done looking be sure to click here so you can go visit Susan and see her before/after's as well as all the others playing along this week. Have a great Monday! P.S. You should be able to view the photos in a larger size if you click on them.

Media Cabinet turned Craft Storage
* Please excuse the concrete floors, carpet still to be installed.Wanted to share with you a couple of photos of the new cabinet I bought at Pier 1 on Sunday. It was tucked away behind a bunch of other furniture pieces but I spotted it. And when I saw that it was on sale I gave it a second look. After all it was $100 off the original sale price, how could I not take a good look, right? It's meant to be a media cabinet, for me it will be craft storage. Well, as you can see I couldn't walk away from this deal so home it came with me. It has four shelves in it and so I plan on storing some of my card and envelopes along with some other items. My only concern was seeing the items that I will be storing. So, I bought some foam board today and I think I will paint it the pink that is found on my walls and then insert it from the inside. What is really neat is that the way it is made it allows for the foam board to sit snugly and so I can still open and close the door with ease. In one of the photos, I opened the door against the wall so you could see what it will look like. I will be sure to re post photos once I actually finish the project. So, this sweet black cabinet has found a new home! Ciao for now.
